Cheese bar isn’t something common in Hong Kong. And the existing ones do cost an arm and a leg. The new wine and cheese bar in Soho – La Fromagerie, however, not only offers proper cheese imported from France at an affordable price, the wine is also at its best quality and cost, especially during happy hour.
There are over 10 kinds of wine to choose from during happy hour at La Fromagerie and most of them are from France. “The most important thing is not to offer the cheapest price, but the best wine.” said the French owner of the bar, Thiery.
Then how the hell on earth could they offer such good wine directly imported from France at this ridiculously low price point? Thiery said that it’s because they are very close with the suppliers as they have been cooperating for over 20 years.
