Kanchanaburi, the river city in the west of Thailand, has launched its latest floating villa resort that offers the most serene setting of mountains and canal for a calming and relaxing getaway.
Still in its soft opening, the hotel comprises 20 modern loft-style villas along the River Kwai. While the Canal Access Villas give you beautiful views of the mountains, we love the spacious 80-square-meter Floating Villas, which bob over the water complete with their own stylish hammocks, river terrace and upper deck.

In addition to jungle rafting, elephant riding and kayaking, the resort (which is right on River Kwai) also provides free boat tour down Kwai Noi River. Free rafts leave the villas at 4:30pm every day if you fancy the tour. And oh, there’s an on-site Thai restaurant and massage parlor too!
Special B1,000 discount applies right now during the soft opening, which will set you back at B4,000/night (HK$900) for a Canal Access Room, and B4,500/night (HK$1,010) for a Floating Villa, inclusive of breakfast.
