It might be hard to find a good spot to have that lovely pasta al dente in Hong Kong. At Soho, you could enjoy the true taste of Italy at Linguini Fini, in which all their pasta are hand-made and all fresh!
Their signature dish, Papardelle Nose to Tail Bolognese (HK$178) absorbs all the taste of pork, veal and oxtail from the sauce. The very rich savor together with the fresh and thin Papardelle makes the whole dish tastes heavenly!
Radiatore Alla Vodka ($149) is a jazzed up version of a traditional penne alla vodka that owner Todd Darling grew up eating in New York. The deliciously creamy sauce seeps into the crevices of the radiator-shaped pasta (also made in-house), so you get more goodness in every bite. What makes it even better, however, is the addition of spicy ‘nduja and melted mozzarella.
Uni Macheroni Carbonara ($188) is one of those dish that surprises you with the whole new element mixed with the traditional Carbonara. I am not a big fan of uni as I am scared of the strong fishy taste, yet the uni in this plate only added to the creaminess of the dish with a sharp seafood flavour (not that yucky fishy smell). The uni surprisingly complements with the carbonara really well!
Besides pasta, Linguini Fini is also well known for its freshly-made pizza.
The Brooklyn 18″ New York Pie ($278) is truly New-York sized filling up the whole table! As much as you want it all to yourself, you definitely have to share with your friends. The pizza is piled with fresh mozzarella, fried aubergine, roasted garlic and peppers, and fresh basil.
Linguini Fini is a restaurant with laidback environment and lively ambience, providing all fresh and absolutely tasty Italian fare to Hong Kong. Perfect choice for friends gathering or date!
